Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: your email address, password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text), and display name.
• Profile and reading details: information you choose to provide to personalise your readings, such as birth date, birth time, place of birth, spiritual preferences, and your tarot/astrology questions.
• Payment metadata: order and payment identifiers, transaction amounts, and payment status. We never collect or store your card number, CVV, or other card details — see Section 4.
• Usage information: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the Service secure and working correctly.
• Communications: messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

• To create and maintain your account and deliver the readings and features you request.
• To analyse the details you provide (such as your birth data or tarot questions) using artificial intelligence in order to generate your personalised reading.
• To process payments for paid readings and services.
• To send you transactional emails, such as password resets or booking confirmations.
• To respond to support requests and improve the quality and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes. To operate the Service, we work with a small number of trusted service providers who process data strictly on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations, solely to perform the function described below — never for any independent purpose of their own:

• AI processing: the details relevant to your reading (such as your birth data or tarot question) are sent to our AI service provider solely to generate your personalised interpretation.
• Payments: Razorpay processes all payments on our behalf — see Section 4.
• Email delivery: our email provider sends transactional emails (such as password resets) on our behalf.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or to investigate fraud or abuse of the Service.

All payments on Divtara are processed by Razorpay, a licensed third-party payment gateway. Razorpay handles the entire transaction, including collection of your card, UPI, net banking, or wallet details. We do not store your card number, CVV, expiry date, or any other card information on our servers— our systems only retain the order ID, payment ID, amount, and verification status needed to confirm your purchase. Please refer to Razorpay’s own privacy policy for how it handles payment data.

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and password hashing — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. You may permanently delete your account and personal data at any time from your Profile page (Dashboard → Profile → Danger Zone). When you do:

• Your profile, saved readings, birth charts, and other personal content are permanently deleted.
• We retain a minimal, anonymised record of past transactions (such as order and payment identifiers, amounts, and dates, with no link to your identity) where required to meet our accounting and tax obligations under Indian law.

You may access and correct your profile information at any time from your Dashboard, and you may request deletion of your account as described above. You may also contact us at support@divtara.in for any other request relating to your personal data.

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be highlighted on the Service.
